// BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER //

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our growing team at the influence group. The Business Development Manager is a confident and highly motivated professional whose role is to sell premium sponsorships for our portfolio of executive-level events.

Success in the position requires self-motivation, a competitive spirit and the ability to effectively communicate with senior executives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer oriented attitude are essential qualifications. He or she will collaborate closely with the entire Influence team to ensure the success of each event. The successful candidate is someone who is not only willing to follow instructions, but also take the ball and run with it!

This position presents wonderful growth opportunities for the right candidate. If you have previous conference sales experience (especially with one-on-one meetings/hosted buyer formats) we want to hear from you!

Requirements
*Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience
*Must have the skills and confidence to identify and qualify sales opportunities
*Excellent verbal (phone) and written communication abilities
*We are a lean organization. You must be able to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
*Strong time management and interpersonal skills. Must be focused!
*Must thrive in a vibrant, fast moving environment
*Ability to travel to our events (2016: Miami// Napa Valley // Palm Springs and more)

The Community Relations Manager is a confident, articulate and enthusiastic professional whose role is to present and sell the influence group’s portfolio of high quality events to senior executives in a variety of industries (healthcare, education, retail, senior living). In short, this person will be developing the right audience/ community for our events.

Success in this position requires a competitive spirit and the ability to effectively communicate with senior executives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer oriented attitude are essential qualifications. He or she will collaborate closely with the Executive Producer and Business Development team to ensure the success of each forum.

As influence group is a young organization, this position presents wonderful growth opportunities for the right candidate. If you have previous delegate sales experience with a conference or event production company we want to hear from you!

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Must have the confidence and skills to pitch the value of our events to senior executives
  • Ability to conduct online research relevant to the markets served and utilize that information when communicating with senior executives
  • Excellent verbal (phone) and written communication abilities
  • We are a lean organization. You must be able to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills
  • Must thrive in a vibrant, fast moving environment

  • Conference delegate sales experience and knowledge is a plus!
